Julia Tomlinson – Regional Family Advisor

Julia’s background is in education. She is an experienced primary school teacher and has also been involved in setting up and teaching SSE to hearing and non – hearing babies and families in South Wales. She has seen first – hand how important it is for families to have the opportunity to share experiences and develop friendships.

 

She firmly believes that all children deserve the right to access literacy and be given equal opportunity to develop their communication skills in whichever way they choose. She feels that it is imperative that children are offered a thorough toolbox of options and strategies in order to reach their full potential and for their learning journey to become something that they can enjoy.

 

Julia has recently joined the team as a regional cued speech advisor and is at present enjoying learning to cue in order to fully support families in and around South Wales.
